Day 6

Today we spent the morning making our second radio update. on the radio with us were two women. One was trying to organize an effort to impeach Bush and the other was trying to stop ConEdison from cutting down too many trees. These women were of great help to us because they told us of other dangerous streets in Greenburgh that do not have sidewalks. One of the women knew Bronwyn Baird who was killed on Old Tarrytown Rd.

We met with Tim Lewis, the town attorney for Greenburgh. We discussed what would be necessary in order to utilize a walkway on Lawrence Birnbach's property. We then called New York State Assemblywoman Amy Paulin asking if she wanted to become involved in our project.
